Contract on the Creation of Digital Competence Frameworks Signed

On Wednesday, 23 March 2016, at the premises of the Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNet, the "Contract on the procurement of the service of creation of learning scenarios and digital competence frameworks and on the preparation, organisation and implementation of beneficiary education and events relating to the teachers' community for the implementation of the 'e-Schools: Establishing a System for Developing Digitally Mature Schools' project, GROUP 2: Creation of digital competence frameworks" was signed.

The contract was signed by Mr Zvonimir StaniŠ, CARNet's Chief Executive Officer and Mr Ivan FilipoviŠ, Executive Director of the TechEd Savjetodavne Usluge d.o.o. company, as a representative of the group of tenderers consisting of TechEd Savjetodavne Usluge d.o.o., Ecorys Croatia d.o.o., the Anton Martin Slomšek Institute, Cognita d.o.o. and the Zagreb Open University.

The Contract specifies the creation of three digital competence frameworks for three beneficiary groups in schools – principals, teachers and expert co-workers, as well as administrative staff. The frameworks will be used primarily for the creation of curriculums for the beneficiaries' professional development and for the beneficiaries' self-assessment of their digital competence level in schools.

Along with the frameworks, a guide containing the description and purpose of the frameworks, the methodology of their creation and the method of their use will also be prepared and is expected to be published in September 2016.
