Safer Internet Day

As part of this year's Safer Internet Day, the Croatian Academic and Research Network - CARNet and the Safer Internet Centre will organize the education of a large number of teachers, students and parents of the XV high school in Zagreb, the Vukovar high school and the Hrvatskog radiše student dormitory in Osijek.

The central event will take place on February 10 at 5 pm in the XV high school in Zagreb where students and parents of the school will have the opportunity to get their questions regarding the safety of children on the Internet answered by representatives of CARNet, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Children's Hospital in Zagreb.

At the same time, a statement will be signed on the strategic partnership of the XV high school in Zagreb, the representative of all secondary schools in the Republic of Croatia, with the Safer Internet Centre.

In order to unite the activities of numerous institutions and organizations from this field, CARNet was one of the founders of the Safer Internet Centre (SIC). The basic goals of the Centre are the collective promotion of computer and information safety of children and young people in the Republic of Croatia, and there are 13 strategic partners operating in the framework of the Centre - ministries, agencies and public institutions.
