e-Class Register for parents as part of the e-Citizens project

Today, on 10th June, as part of the e-Citizens project, the Croatian Academic and Research Network - CARNet has launched the service of access to the e-Class Register for parents. The e-Class Register for parents is a service which enables parents to access the personal information, marks, information on absence from class, notes, planned schedule of written assignments and other information concerning their child which the teachers and the form master have entered in the e-Class Register. Access to information concerning a child is possible provided that the form master has correctly entered the additional information about its parents in the e-Class Register. In order to access the service, parents must have their electronic identity in the National Identification and Authentication System - NIAS.

The Government of the Republic of Croatia has initiated the e-Citizens project in order to modernise, simplify and accelerate the communication of citizens and the public administration and increase the transparency of the public sector. Along with the Central Government Portal which represents its public part, the e-Citizens system also includes the Personal User Account and the National Identification and Authentication System (NIAS).

The function of the National Identification and Authentication System is the management of the electronic identities of citizens, users of the public sector e-services. Every citizen can request the opening of a personal user account in the FINA branch offices. You can find out more about the project at
