Classroom of the Future at the Night of Museums

On Friday 30th January 2015, the 10th Night of Museums was held under the title "Inventions and Discoveries – Nikola Tesla, a universal mind", during which CARNet presented the Classroom of the Future through contents of the National Distance-Learning Portal "Nikola Tesla", education materials of the ICT Curricula project from the field of physics and announcement of the E-schools project.

Visitors of Ferdinand Budicki Car Museum, in which CARNet's Classroom of Future was placed, were able to try the advantages of using interactive whiteboards, play with educational contents via smart desk and solve interactive quizzes on tablets and win prizes.

It was an opportunity for children and their parents and grandparents to learn, shoulder to shoulder, in the same classroom, through playing with and using of ICT, to acquaint themselves with CARNet services and the way in which they can access them.

Out of 14,500 visitors of the Ferdinand Budicki Car Museum, approximately 3,500 visited the Classroom of the Future, of which 200 actively participated in presentations, quizzes and consultations with e-learning experts from CARNet.
