Meeting with the Representatives of the 20 Schools in the e-Schools Project

On Monday, 16 March 2015, the first meeting with the representatives of the 20 schools included in the pilot project "e-Schools - Development of the System of Digital Maturity of Schools", their founders and the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports was held at CARNet.

The objective of the meeting was to introduce all representatives of the selected schools and their founders to the project team at CARNet and present further activities regarding project implementation. After a presentation of the project, the schools were introduced to project activities, the rights and obligations of all participants in the project. Further forms of intercommunication were agreed upon, as were specific activities regarding the signing of the contract and commencing work on the project. 

705 schools replied to the public call for participation in the pilot project "e-Schools - Development of the system of digital maturity of schools", and 150 schools were selected. The selection of schools was carried out at the start of the project in order to make activity, costs and procurement planning easier to carry out in more detail, whereas the equipping and other project activities at most selected schools would be started at the start of 2016. These first 20 schools will be included in the initial phase of the pilot project starting autumn 2015.
