Deleting paid domains

An application for the deletion of paid second-level domains is submitted by filling out the appropriate form:

  • form for the deletion of a paid second-level domain (HRTLD_NBR)

Along with the form, one must enclose a copy of a document of the person submitting the application for deleting the domain, which contains the personal identification number (OIB) or unique personal identification number (JMBG) of that person. By using the JMBG, the OIB will be verified on the www.oib.hr website. This procedure is necessary primarily for the protection of users from unauthorised persons requesting the deletion of their domains, i.e. to be sure in the identity of the person that has requested the deletion.

Important:
The deletion of a domain represents a process of permanently deleting the domain data from the domain registry. By deleting the domain, the domain name becomes free for new registration.
