CARNet's E-Learning Academy calls for applications for scholarship competition

On 20th May 2011, Croatian Academic and Research Network - CARNet will open a competition for enrolment of the 9th generation for the E-Learning Academy programme for the academic year 2011/2012. The E-Learning Academy programmes are intended for educational institutions managers, human resources managers, teachers, technical staff, and all those who want to learn how to manage e-learning projects, to design and create online education materials and to teach online.

Each programme lasts two semesters and mostly proceeds online, with three live workshops in Zagreb. Applications for E-learning Management, Tutoring and Course Design programmes can be sent from 20th May to 17th July 2011.

The first step in sending the applications will have to be done online, i.e. it will require filling of a form at http://ela-prijava.carnet.hr. In the academic year 2011/2012, the scholarship for attendants from academic and educational sector will be HRK 5,500. For all other attendants, the cost of the programme will be HRK 15,000, with a possibility of discount in case of a larger number of attendants from the same institution.

Also, as part of the educational system informatization, in addition to regular applications, CARNet opened a competition for award of E-Learning Academy scholarships to Croatian primary and secondary school staff, primarily teachers, school principals and professional associates.

The competition is open from 20th May to 26th June 2011. The terms of the competition and the selection criteria will be published at http://www.carnet.hr/ela/upisi/natjecaj.
