CARNet workshop on competences of tutors for adults at the Lifelong Learning Week

Through the workshop on competences of tutors for adults, which will be held by the team of the E-Learning Academy, this year CARNet will be part of the national educational campaign - Lifelong Learning Week. The Lifelong Learning Week is a UNESCO initiative celebrated every year in a number of countries with the goal of raising awareness about lifelong learning, promoting a culture of learning and encouraging personal motivation.

The event is held in Croatia for the fourth time in the organisation of the Agency for Vocational Education and Training wit the support of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, and this year it will be held from 8 to 15 September 2011 throughout Croatia under the slogan "And how are you learning?".

As part of this event, CARNet's e-Learning Academy will hold on 14 September 2011 a workshop about the competences of tutors for adults, where the competence model of Research voor Beleid (2010) will be presented as well as a research carried out on the basis of this model among online instructors of adults.  Attendants of the workshop will discuss the competences present in Croatia and will jointly define which competences need to be developed further.
