Expert meeting organised as part of the ECOLAV project

An expert meeting within the ECOLAV (Environmental Competences Towards Labour Market and VET Systems) project was held at CARNet's headquarters in Zagreb on 12 June 2014, presenting the European and Croatian experience on the possibilities of linking vocational education to the labour market and the implementation of environmental competences in vocational education.

At the beginning of the meeting the participants were welcomed by Mrs Ankica Nježić, Assistant Minister of Science, Education and Sports, and Mr Zvonimir Stanić, CEO of CARNet.   After Jim Anderson, Project Manager of ECOLAV from the partner institution of Glasgow Clyde College in the United Kingdom, presented the goals and activities of the project, other partner institutions were also presented - 36.6 Competence Centre, Poland, ALVIT - Innovation and Education s.r.o., Czech Republic, EcoDevelopment GmbH, Germany, and the activities carried out under the project.
