The first Study visit in Croatia began

We are very glad to inform you that today, october 10th first Study visit in Croatia began.

The first day of the study visit CARNet CEO Zvonimir Stanić greeted the participants and wished them warm welcome. In front of the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs that coordinates Study visits on national level as part of the Lifelong Learning Program of the European Union, Ms. Dragana Glivetić also welcomed the participants.

During the first day, participants had the opportunity to learn about CARNet as an institution and hear about activities and projects of the CARNet’s Educational department. Participants were introduced with the Croatian system of state graduation and enrollment in higher education by Vedran Mornar Ph.D. from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.

On the first day participants visited the University computer center – Srce where CEO Zoran Bekić Ph.D.  introduced them to the role of the Srce at the University and beyond. The head of the Centre for e-learning Sandra Kučina Softić presented the activities of the Centre and the international project entitled "Improving the quality of education by applying technology e-learning" (EQIBELT - Education Quality Improvement by E-Learning Technology).

Today some of the participants had the opportunity to present themselves and institution they are coming from. All other participants’ presentations will be held on fourth day of the study visit.
