Individual Users Access to the CARNET Network

In cooperation with Internet service providers CARNET strives to enable its users to access all CARNET services and resources under the conditions which are more favourable than the current conditions on the market.

With that in mind, CARNET continuously invests in its network infrastructure and other available resources (such as equipment, resources, authentication/authorization infrastructure etc.).

How to Become a User

Users with electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system which is used for authentication and authorization have the right to access all services. User data (login name and password) are provided by the CARNET member institution that the user works for.

All questions related to AAI@EduHr electronic identity primary and secondary school teachers can refer to school administrators.  

Users from academic community (university students, professors, scientists and staff) are provided with their electronic identity by administrators in their respective institutions.

Which SMTP settings are required to connect to a service?

CARNET’s IP address and DNS record are automatically assigned during the process of connecting to a service.

How to verify user accounts (user data) or change password?
  • Use the AAI@Edu.hr interface to change the password at this address: https://login.aaiedu.hr/promjenazaporke
  • On the LDAP webpage of the member institution. The list of the member institutions can be found here.

Users from skole.hr domain can change their password on the central interface for changing the password  at this address https://lozinka.skole.hr/.
