April 18, 2016.

We are announcing a new webinar titled "Working with video texts by Jammie Keddie" which will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, starting at 7 PM. The webinar is intended for English language teachers who use or would like to use video materials in their language teaching.

In this practical webinar, teachers will be introduced to two types of video texts related to video that are suitable for use in teaching English as a foreign language: transcripts and visual stories. Through a series of examples, the author will discuss ways in which they can be used in language activities involving reading, speaking, critical thinking, and the acquisition of language structures.

Knowledge of English is required because the webinar is held in English.

The webinar will be held via the Adobe Connect communication and collaboration tool at this address. To enter the virtual room, select the 'Guest' option and enter your name.
