CyberExchange

The Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET / National CERT, as one of the project partners, has begun implementing the „CyberExchange“ project within the framework of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). The project is led by the CZ.NIC association from the Czech Republic, and 11 partner institutions from 10 European Union member states (Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia) are participating.

The project will last for two years and aims to strengthen cooperation between national and state CSIRTs/CERTs. The CyberExchange project is a response to the increasing cyber security threats, emphasizing the importance of cross-border cooperation in combating them. Furthermore, the expertise of individuals working in the field of cyber security is also important.

During the project, an exchange of CERT/CSIRT employees will take place, during which individual members of individual teams will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and strengthen their expertise. The project also focuses on the implementation of software tools developed by the teams involved in the project for the benefit of the entire security community. The MeliCERTes platform and the Safer Internet Centres also support the project.

The total value of the project is 734,301.00 euros.
The project is being implemented from November 1, 2018, to October 31, 2020.
