The central location for downloading Microsoft software for primary and secondary schools in the Republic of Croatia is located on the pages Microsoft Product Download Center.

These services allow schools to download files (ISO images), applications, and operating systems to which they are entitled under the contract. Microsoft School Enrollment signed between Microsoft Croatia and the Ministry of Science and Education.

License rights arising from the contract Microsoft School Enrollment include only upgrade (upgrade) onto an existing qualified operating system. For example, if a school buys a new computer, it must have a basic operating system (Windows 10 Pro Edu, Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Pro, …), and only then can the school download the Windows OS from the CARNET website and upgrade the basic pre-installed license to a higher version. 

Microsoft's Office and Windows Server OS are not subject to these limitations and may be installed on bare metal.

Available for download:

  • Client operating systems (Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10)
  • office and other applications (MS Office 2007/2010/2013/2016, Office for Mac 2008/2011/2016)
  • Server operating systems (MS Windows Server 2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2/2016)
  • Server applications (System Center 2012 Configuration Manager and Endpoint Protection, System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager).
