e-Schools Teaching Scenarios

Teachers and educators can find ideas for purposeful ICT application, described in the form of in-class and extracurricular activities that place the student at the center of the learning process and are also adapted for students with special educational needs, in teaching scenarios.

Lesson Scenarios

Lesson Scenarios materials that provide innovative and imaginative ideas for the purposeful application of digital tools and content, as well as contemporary pedagogical approaches in teaching.

Intended for:

  • primarily to teachers in elementary and secondary schools,
  • but they are also valuable content for students of teaching majors.

Teaching scenarios emphasize correlations and an interdisciplinary approach with other subjects, thereby strengthening the integration of content from various subjects and enabling students to apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes developed at school in their life environment.

Considering the specific needs of students with special educational needs in teaching scenarios, activity adaptations have been offered for working with students with learning difficulties, as well as additional materials or activities to expand the knowledge or skills of students who can and want to do more.

Teaching scenarios were created as part of the project “e-Schools: Establishing a System for the Development of Digitally Mature Schools (pilot project)” and its second phase “e-Schools: Development of a System for Digitally Mature Schools (Phase II)”. 240 teaching scenarios were created for chemistry, biology, mathematics, and physics for the 7th and 8th grades of primary school and the 1st and 2nd grades of secondary school, as well as 350 teaching scenarios for 7 interdisciplinary topics from the 5th grade of primary school to the 4th grade of secondary school, covering all general education subjects.

e-Schools curriculum scenarios and interactive content for cross-curricular topics

While some teaching scenarios for general education subjects encompass a series of activities for a single subject, a teaching scenario for a specific interdisciplinary topic includes 3 to 5 activity descriptions that demonstrate how that interdisciplinary topic can be integrated into various general education subjects and extracurricular activities. To address the lack of digital content in the area of interdisciplinary topics, 190 interactive content pieces were created for students to use independently or under guidance as part of their lessons or for independent use at home.
