As part of the celebration of the completion of the e-Schools program, one of the largest digitalization projects for the primary and secondary education system, 10 Regional Education Centers (RECs) were officially opened.
These are multifunctional and technologically innovative spaces for educational activities in schools, as well as for educational events organized by local communities, the Ministry of Science and Education, and other agencies and organizations responsible for fostering the development and support of the educational system in Croatia.
Each center is equipped with digital infrastructure and modern equipment that follows the latest educational trends and teaching methods. In addition to a wireless network, the centers are equipped with 30 laptops, two interactive screens, and multifunctional furniture whose modularity allows for quick changes to the classroom setup, depending on the mode of education delivery.
Newly opened ROCs are located in the following schools:
Vidikovac Elementary School, Pula
2. Gymnasium and Vocational School Bernardin Frankopan, Ogulin
3. Stjepan Radić Elementary School Brestovec Orehovički
