Privacy Policy

CARNET Privacy is a portal that enables users to manage GDPR consents within the school system and create communication groups between school employees, parents, and students, and is intended for school staff. The CARNET Privacy system has been upgraded as part of the project „Application of Artificial Intelligence-Based Digital Technologies in Education –  Brain“.

The application is available on the website https://privatnost.e-skole.hr/, and users can access it by logging in with one of the following credentials: AAI@EduHr, Schools LDAP, CARNET LDAP, e-Citizens (NIAS).

The application facilitates communication within the school system and allows schools to view and manage data. Within the CARNET system, users have privacy options for creating and administering consents for students and staff, a detailed statistical overview of respondent answers, and options for creating communication groups that staff, students, and parents can access within the e-Dnevnik system or through the CARNET Informativka portal.

How to become a user

When teachers are hired in primary or secondary schools, they receive an electronic identity (AAI@EduHr) which gives them access to all CARNET services, including the CARNET privacy service.

Users obtain rights and permissions based on data from the e-Dnevnik and e-Matica systems, depending on their roles within those systems. Principals and consent administrators can also assign user roles within the CARNET privacy application.

System access

The system can be accessed on the portal Privacy Policy using AAI@EduHr electronic identity or using an identity from the e-Citizens system.

Students and parents can manage consents in the system CARNET info while access to communication groups is possible within the system e-Dnevnik or via the portal Information Booklet.

Questions and answers

How can I obtain user data of electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system?
The school administrator for all employees creates a user account in the AAI@EduHr system, and you can check the list of administrators for each institution. here.
How do I log in to the app?

Teachers can access the system via a link. https://privatnost.e-skole.hr. Click “Login,” select a login system, and enter your corresponding details.

How can parents and students apply for and administer consents or access communication groups?

Students and parents do not register in the CARNET privacy system, but can administer consents in the CARNET info system at the link https://info.carnet.hr/.

Additionally, employees, students, and parents can access communication groups within the e-Dnevnik system or through the CARNET Informativka portal.

How to select or change a user role in the system?

On the homepage, you can select an active role from the dropdown menu. The system will adjust the display and functionalities according to the selected role.
