CARNET mToken is an application for generating one-time passwords required for certain CARNET services.

mToken can be used instead of a physical token, and the advantages are:

  • higher degree of security
  • simpler, more intuitive, and accessible use
  • It's free.

Special attention is paid to application security and data protection:

  • mToken does not store the user's secret PIN anywhere
  • The mToken cannot be copied to another mobile phone
  • The one-time password generation token does not use an internet connection.

How to become a user

Before using the mToken application, it needs to be activated. You can generate the activation data on the CARNET mToken portal, which is available at the link https://mtoken.carnet.hr. You can also activate mToken by sending a request to the email address helpdesk@skole.hr, and the request must be sent from an official email address (firstname.lastname@skole.hr).
