26,350 laptops delivered in the scope of the e-Schools programme

19. December 2019.

CARNET provided 26,350 laptops for teachers, worth HRK 98.59 million, to more than 1,200 schools throughout Croatia.

The HP ProBook 455 G6R and Lenovo V330-15IKB notebook models were given to primary school teachers who teach the 1st and/or the 5to grade, to primary school chemistry, physics and biology teachers who teach the 7to grade, and all high school teachers who teach 1st grade.

Delivery of laptops to those who were initially part of the e-Schools programme, takes place in two phases based on data entered by school principals in a survey conducted in December 2018 and January 2019, so laptops for other teachers, professors, professional associates and principals will be delivered in the later phases of the programme implementation.

In addition to laptops, teachers will receive all the necessary education for optimal use of available technology and digital content, as well as numerous services that will be developed within the project, and continuous support within the e-Schools programme, which will be implemented until the end of 2022.

You can find more information about the e-Schools programme on the e-Schools website.
