Content filtering
The objectionable content filtering system prevents the display of web pages of a certain category on some or all computers within a CARNET member institution. Each web page is categorized according to the content it offers, and traffic is filtered by selecting categories that will not be displayed.
Pages are continuously categorized, and new database versions are automatically checked every few hours. Upon user request, CARNET can also manually allow or prohibit the display of a specific page.

Only unencrypted network traffic over the HTTP protocol and encrypted network traffic over the HTTPS protocol will be filtered. When filtering encrypted network traffic, the system cannot read the content itself, so its processing does not compromise user privacy.
All other traffic not going over HTTP and HTTPS protocols will not be filtered: e-mail, P2P protocols, instant messenger, FTP, news messages and other things.
If you believe the page is miscategorized, please send its URL to the email address filtriranje@skole.hr And our administrators will check the query and inform you of the action taken.
