Continuous learning for all - Strengthening capacities to provide quality tools and content for distance learning for all adult users
The project “Lifelong Learning for All – Strengthening Capacities for Providing Quality Distance Learning Tools and Content to All Adult Learners“ took place from the end of 2021 to the end of June 2023 within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 1: Learning Mobility for Individuals. The project was co-financed by the European Union.
Erasmus+ is the European Union's largest program for education, training, youth, and sport, covering the period from 2014 to 2020. It encompasses all European and international programs and initiatives of the European Union in the fields of education (early childhood education, general education, higher education, adult education), training (vocational education and training), youth, and sport.
Erasmus+ aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills, as well as the employability of European citizens, and to improve education, training, and work in the fields of youth and sport. It is particularly focused on connecting education, training, and the youth sector with the business sector, and is open to their joint projects.
About the project
The project's goal was to empower CARNET employees by attending training related to improving information systems for digital educational content, as well as for distance learning and communication, in order to provide educational opportunities to all interested parties. Capacity building is important for carrying out the regular activities and projects that CARNET implements, all of which require highly competent employees.
The project consisted of three phases: preparation, mobility implementation, and knowledge sharing and dissemination of information.
The collaborating institutions on the project were the organizers of the planned training sessions, namely the company Asociación Socioeducativa EDUPLUS and the University of the Azores.
The mobilities achieved were related to the following trainings:
- Working with learners from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Training mission at the External Relations Office
