Science Picnic in September again this year

This year's 13th Science Picnic will be held September 27 and 28, 2024. in the park of the Museum of Peasant Rebellions, in the Oršić Castle in Gornja Stubica. Both days, the Science Picnic will be held from 10 AM to 5 PM.

As in previous years, the Science Picnic program will consist of a series of lectures, presentations, workshops, science show programs, educational theater performances, and other interesting interactive-artistic formats conducted by numerous associations, scientific institutions, student sections, elementary and secondary schools, and individuals passionate about science and art from Croatia and abroad.

The Science Picnic can be used as an opportunity for field trips. Friday is usually reserved for group arrivals of schools, so if you are planning to attend the picnic with your students, please notify us of the number of participants and your arrival day by email at znanstveni-piknik@carnet.hr How can we provide you with more detailed instructions?.

The Scientific Picnic is jointly organized and run by the Professor Baltazar Association, the Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET, the Ruđer Bošković Institute, Krapina-Zagorje County, the Municipality of Gornja Stubica, and the Town of Donja Stubica, all under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Education.
