CARNET has developed a new e-Dormitories system, intended for student dormitories for the free and simple management of pedagogical documentation in electronic form. The system primarily enables the management of the educator group's Work Log in accordance with the current Rulebook on pedagogical documentation and records and public documents in school institutions.
During the last school year, a pilot phase was also conducted in cooperation with ten student dormitories, which provided positive feedback and useful suggestions for future system upgrades.
In addition to basic functionalities, the e-Domovi system also allows for the keeping of various records that facilitate the daily work of student dormitories, such as records of studying, overnight stays, meals, room hygiene, student illnesses, and the like. The system is connected to e-Matica and e-Dnevnik, ensuring comprehensive student records.
The system is available on a voluntary and free-of-charge basis, and can be accessed via the link: https://e-domovi.carnet.hr/.
The institution's director performs the first login to the system using their electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system, after which they can assign appropriate roles to other employees of the dormitory.
User manuals are available within the system, and user training will be organized soon, about which institutions will be promptly notified. CARNET will continue to care for the maintenance and further development of the system in accordance with user needs, with the support of CARNET's Helpdesk at helpdesk@skole.hr.
By launching the e-Domovi system, CARNET continues the development of digital solutions for educational institutions, after recently introducing a new version of the National Information System for Adult Education (NISOO), which fully digitizes the process of approving and aligning adult education programs.
