Ahead of „Black Friday,“ when the number of online purchases, as well as online scams, increases, the Croatian Banking Association (HUB), in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior and CARNET's National CERT, has launched the national campaign „Let's Be Realistic.“.
Through TV commercials and an educational website www.budimorealni.hr The campaign showcases examples of the most common forms of fraud – from fake bank websites and phishing calls to romance and investment scams.
The main face of the campaign is actor Hrvoje Kečkeš, who, in the role of „neighbor of the hero,“ with the recognizable phrase „Let's be realistic,“ warns about situations in which scammers exploit citizens' trust and haste.

Citizens are also advised to carefully check online stores before making a purchase, including the experiences of other users, and to only enter card details on secure and trustworthy websites.
