The Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNet was presented on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the Rochester Institute of Technology during a career day titled “Career Education Day 2016,” organized at the Westin hotel in Zagreb.
CARNet representative Mr. Branko Radojević, Deputy CEO for Computer Infrastructure and Services, participated in a panel discussion on “Critical IT Trends in 2016,” alongside representatives from DRAP, King ICT, Croz, and IBM. The panel discussed new technologies, their implementation, and localization within Croatian circumstances. The discussion also covered educational trends needed to align with labor market demands in the technological sector, as well as the preparedness of Croatian students for technical studies at universities.
CARNet also presented itself to the participants as a company that provides opportunities for internships and professional practice.
