Within the Erasmus+ project „Assessment of Transversal Skills 2020 – ATS2020“The second webinar, this time on the topic of evaluating generic competencies, will be held, in which CARNet participates as a partner.
In the first webinar, held on March 30th, it was explained how generic competencies are considered essential for successful participation in society and have been introduced as a concept into educational policy and practice with the aim of preparing children and young people for life in the 21st century. Generic competencies also play an important role in the Comprehensive Curriculum Reform and will be evaluated as such.
Why is it necessary to evaluate generic competencies, how can they be evaluated, and if educational outcomes are competencies, what changes does this require in evaluation?
Interested participants can find answers to these questions on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 1:00 PM in a webinar titled „Competency Evaluation: Challenges and Opportunities.“ This time, the topic will be presented to interested parties by a member of the expert working group for the Comprehensive Curriculum Reform project, Ph.D. Zrinka Ristić Dedić from the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb.
