e-Diary workshops held for school administrators

April 14, 2016.

The Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNet organized a series of workshops for e-Diary school administrators who will be using the e-Diary application for the first time in the 2016/2017 school year. The workshops were held from April 4th to 11th at CARNet's premises in Zagreb.

The purpose of the workshops was to introduce administrators to the e-Dnevnik service and application, and to train administrators to perform school administration tasks in e-Dnevnik. Through the workshops, administrators were also prepared for further education on e-Dnevnik, so that they could also prepare and conduct training for teachers in their schools.

In total, 287 teachers from primary and secondary schools from all over Croatia were educated in five days of workshops through ten groups.

e-Dnevnik is a web application for keeping the class register in electronic form, which is being used by 554 schools this school year. In addition to all the functionalities of the existing class register, the system has additional functionalities enabled by the use of information and communication technologies.
