New workshop dates for Google Classroom and G Suite for Education tools are now open.

Google will hold new workshops on Google Classroom and G Suite for Education tools, which will showcase the features of the tools and their application possibilities in remote learning. The first Google Classroom workshop is scheduled for tomorrow, May 12th, at 1 PM.

You can register on the website Training for Teaching with Google G Suite for Education by clicking the Register button. You will receive the workshop access link via email on the day of the workshop you registered for.

Each workshop will last two school hours, with the first part dedicated to presenting the tools and the second part for questions. You can find the schedule and times for the workshops below.

Google Classroom Workshop: 

G Suite for Education is a suite of tools that enables teachers and students for remote learning and is currently used by over 80 million users worldwide for educational purposes. The Google Classroom workshop will introduce the features of this tool to enable its use in teaching. The topics that will be covered are:

  • Using Google Classroom in teaching
  • creating a classroom and sharing information with students
  • Creating quizzes in Google Forms, checking completed tasks, and grading them.

G Suite for Education Tools Workshop

G Suite for Education is a suite of tools that enables teachers and students for remote learning and is currently used by over 80 million users worldwide for educational purposes. The G Suite for Education Tools workshop will present the features of the tools so that they can be used in teaching. The topics that will be covered are:

  • Using Google Drive and its features in the teaching process
  • Using Google Forms, Slides, Docs, Sheets
  • collaboration, content creation, and sharing
  • Using Hangouts Meet in the classroom.
