Invitation to the workshop „1.2.3.4.5! Five Steps to Self-Discovery“

March 4, 2016.

Teachers often wonder how to explain complex natural phenomena to their students. How can a physical force, a chemical reaction, or a biological process be explained in a simple and, if possible, experiential way?

Teachers can join the workshop and learn what the workshop title means, or how to get answers to posed questions in five steps. They will have the opportunity to learn which innovative pedagogical methods they can use to improve the teaching of natural science subjects, and how to engage their students to become active participants in the lessons and perhaps enthusiasts for science. They will be informed about how to bring science closer through the synergy of pedagogy and technology and to more easily grasp its laws.

The workshop is intended for all curious science teachers, but also for anyone else who wants to improve their teaching.

It will be held on two dates and in two locations: March 30, 2016, at the School of Natural Sciences and Technology in Split, and March 31, 2016, at the High School „Brač“ in Supetar, with detailed workshop schedules available below the text.

All interested parties are invited to apply for participation by March 15, 2016, via the following links:

All participants of these workshops will receive a certificate from the Agency for Education and Training.
