We invite all schools to be a part of the 14th edition Science Picnic, which will be held November 3 and 4, 2025 in a new, inspiring environment Parka Matija Gubec Elementary School in Gornja Stubica, in the immediate vicinity of Oršić Castle.
If your students and teachers are carrying out interesting projects, experiments, or creative activities, we invite you to Apply as an exhibitor. This is an ideal opportunity for them to present their work to a wider audience, spark scientific curiosity in others, and be part of the largest popular science event in Croatia. Participating as an exhibitor brings additional motivation and visibility to school teams.
The new location will provide additional space for interactive exhibits, scientific experiments, performances, and workshops, all of which make the Science Picnic a unique and unforgettable experience for all participants.

The event is organized by the Professor Balthazar Association, the Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET, and the Ruđer Bošković Institute, with the support of the Krapina-Zagorje County, the City of Donja Stubica, and the Municipality of Gornja Stubica. The patrons are the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, and the President of the Republic of Croatia.
