e-Schools Project Presented in Brussels

Within the framework of the Scientix project, which promotes and supports the collaboration of STEM teachers across Europe, the tenth „Scientix Projects’ Networking Event“ and a workshop titled „10th Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab“ were held in Brussels from February 26-28, 2016. 

On the first day of the event, attended by 33 representatives of European and national projects in the fields of STEM and education, Ms. Branka Vuk, Assistant Director of CARNet for Educational Support, and Ms. Mirta Janeš, Project Outcome Leader, presented the project „e-Schools: Establishing a System for Developing Digitally Mature Schools (Pilot Project),“ with a special emphasis on user training and the systematic development of their digital competence for the application of ICT in the teaching process.

The next day, as part of the workshop, Ms. Branka Vuk introduced interested participants to the activities of the e-Schools project related to the development of digital educational content for students and teachers of STEM subjects (chemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics) in the 7th and 8th grades of elementary school and the 1st and 2nd grades of high school.
