As part of the Inspiring Science Education (ISE) project, the Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNet is organizing a webinar "E-tools for Multimedia in Education: How to Win the ISE Oscar Competition?"intended for all teachers in the Republic of Croatia and all those involved in teaching in a formal or informal capacity. In addition, the webinar is intended for anyone interested in applying ISE learning scenarios and participating in the competition."Oscar for Screenplay, Directing, and Film".
The webinar will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, starting at 1 PM via the Adobe Connect communication and collaboration tool at the address http://connect.carnet.hr/webinar/. To enter the virtual room, select the 'Guest' option and enter your name.
The aim of the webinar is to familiarize participants with the basic characteristics and functionalities of selected e-tools for creating animated and video content, namely Animoto, Moovly, Movie Maker, Screencast-o-matic, and Powtoon. Participants will learn how to design a script for such content and where to gather materials for its creation. Finally, participants will be introduced to the "ISE Oscar for Screenplay, Direction, and Film" competition, which is organized as part of the Inspiring Science Education (ISE) project. The goal is to implement teaching using an ISE learning scenario and to direct and produce a video or short film that presents it.
The webinar is scheduled to last one hour, during which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.
