CARNET Meduza The service is for the distribution of multimedia content intended for educational and academic institutions, as well as individual users of CARNET member institutions.

CARNET Meduza

The quality implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT) in work and everyday life requires the use of ICT at all educational levels. However, due to real financial and time constraints, teachers attending training in other locations is often not feasible or requires interruptions in regular classes. By implementing a multimedia content distribution platform, education is enabled remotely, with equal access for all users at their workplace or from their own homes, at any time of day.

The Meduza service gets its name from the Greek word medomai (μεδομαι) = 'to plan', 'to devise', 'to find', which encompasses the purpose of the service: to plan, devise, and find ways to overcome barriers that arise in information distribution.

CARNET Meduza is available to users as a source of knowledge, information, and educational content. The use of Meduza is completely free and accessible from all over the world.

No, in order for users to view protected videos within the system (for example, the content of the Baltazar portal), they need to have a user account in the AAI@EduHr system. The system is developed with the goal of user accessibility, has a minimalist design, and features simple, intuitive icons.
