CARNET Users' Conference entirely in online format

September 1, 2020.

This year's CARNET User Conference will be held entirely online from November 4th to 6th, 2020.

As CUC has regularly gathered more than a thousand participants in recent years, holding the conference indoors this year will not be possible. For us at CARNET, our users and their health are paramount, so taking into account all epidemiological recommendations, organizing the conference in the format we have all become accustomed to is unfortunately not possible.

Therefore, we are moving this year's conference to an online format, where we will offer users an almost identical conference participation experience to what they are accustomed to. During the three days of the conference, users will be able to choose between several parallel program sessions, participate in workshops, ask questions to authors and comment on them, follow panel discussions on various topics, and receive certificates of attendance at the end. They will also be able to virtually visit the exhibition space of the conference sponsors and participate in prize draws and other events.

In order to participate in the conference, prior registration will be required, which will begin in October. Only registered participants will be able to access the conference system and sign up for workshops within the conference.

More information can be found on the website. CARNET User Conference More detailed instructions will be published soon.
