Virtual Identity Protection

Webinar recording is available here

Webinar Description
This week, in one webinar, we're bringing you two interesting topics that can help answer some questions related to online safety. “High Five for Netiquette”: We're taught politeness, cultural etiquette, and rules of behavior from a young age, but how much and in what way do we apply what we've learned when using the internet? Rules for online behavior have become more relevant with the emergence of the pandemic and the shift of a large part of daily activities into cyberspace. In the webinar, we will go over the basic rules of behavior and how to implement them for acceptable and safe communication, with the goal of quality teaching and facilitating the online learning process. “Trace in Infinity”: It's easy to erase a mistake in a notebook with an eraser, press Delete on the keyboard, or simply throw away something you no longer need, but what happens to a photo or information that you can no longer delete, destroy, or forget? How aware are we of the traces we leave online, what are they used for, and how can we use them to shape a positive image of ourselves? In the webinar, you will find answers to these questions and initiate a process of reflection on your digital footprint. Show your students how their digital footprint can be an ally in their educational journey.
