Educational Activities Program in the e-University Project
The educational activities program is intended for teaching, administrative, and IT staff, as well as librarians employed at higher education institutions involved in the project. e-University.
The program includes workshops, webinars, and lectures for competency development in the following areas:
- Development and Application of Multimedia and Digital Teaching Content in Education
- Planning and implementation of hybrid and online instruction
- Cybersecurity and responsible use of digital technologies
In addition to organized training within the project, educational content for self-study is being developed, such as interactive video lessons, micro-lessons, and e-courses, which enables continuous professional development and the application of acquired knowledge in practice.
All trainings will be conducted in multiple sessions in various cities.

Webinar Content:
What are video lessons and why are they playing an increasingly important role in learning and teaching – the pedagogical role of video lessons in learning and teaching and their contribution to modernizing teaching and learning methods.
- Characteristics of Quality Video Lessons that Promote Student Learning and Engagement
- Types of video lessons based on their purpose and function in the educational process
- Finding, selecting, and adapting existing, available video lessons and other types of multimedia content (animations, simulations, etc.) while respecting copyright; creating new video lessons and regulating their use by students and the community; licenses and copyright protection
- Planning and implementation of teaching and learning activities using video lessons
- Examples of good practice for successful integration of different types of video lessons into teaching activities.

Introduction to Learning and Teaching Using Video Lessons – Presentation and Manual.
Workshop Content:
The workshop provides a theoretical framework and covers the activities necessary for the conceptualization, planning, and practical creation of digital learning content.
- What are digital teaching materials, types of digital teaching materials, structure and elements of digital teaching materials
- Defining purpose, learning outcomes, teaching and learning methods, content (selection of ready-made or creation of new multimedia content elements), types of knowledge assessment (selection of methods and tools for knowledge assessment)

Workshop Content:
The topic covers understanding the specifics and the process of planning, preparing, and implementing hybrid teaching, the challenges teachers face in this process, as well as planning communication and support for students to ensure successful implementation of hybrid teaching.
- Different forms of teaching implementation according to the level of digital technology application; selection of educational technologies to support the implementation of teaching activities and achievement of learning outcomes, and their integration into the teaching process
- Prerequisites for conducting hybrid (and online) teaching – technological/material assumptions (network, equipment), organizational, technical, and administrative aspects
- Pedagogical aspects: teaching methods and differences in planning classroom, online, and hybrid instruction; design of effective online learning environments (instructional design)
- Preparation and implementation of hybrid teaching – defining learning outcomes and designing teaching activities for their achievement through hybrid teaching; selection of digital tools and platforms for the implementation of planned teaching activities using a hybrid teaching model (includes preparation and organization of digital teaching content); selection of evaluation method(s) supported by educational technology and selection of tools/programs/software for evaluation implementation; creation of a communication and support plan for students for the implementation of teaching activities using a hybrid teaching model.

Educational activities are available for the duration of the project. until June 30, 2026.
The developed educational content will be available. and after the project is completed on Edutorij, Meduza, and Loomen.

Questions and answers
The training is intended for employees of public higher education institutions, including teaching staff, administrative staff, librarians, and IT support.
The project includes diverse educational activities such as lectures, workshops, and webinars. Topics covered include the creation of digital teaching content, the application of video lessons in teaching, cybersecurity, and hybrid teaching planning.
Applications are submitted through the EMA system. For e-courses, after selection in EMA, you need to confirm your enrollment through the Loomen system.
Lectures and workshops will be held regionally in Zagreb, Osijek, Rijeka, Pula, Zadar, Split, and Dubrovnik.
Webinars and virtual workshops will be held via MS Teams (login with AAI@EduHr identity required), while the e-course will be available through the Loomen system.
Certificates are issued within 7 days through the EMA system, provided all criteria are met (signature, application, or activity). If the certificate is not visible after a week, send an inquiry to projekt.carnetVU@algebra.hr.
Enrollment in education is carried out through the EMA system. Log in using your AAI@EduHr identity, select the desired education, and confirm your enrollment. For e-courses, after logging into the EMA system, you need to confirm your enrollment by clicking on the link to the e-course in the Loomen system.
If you are using the EMA system for the first time, you will need an active AAI@EduHr identity. Detailed instructions for logging into the EMA system are available here.
After successfully logging into the EMA system, access the e-course of your choice by clicking on the link that will take you to the Loomen system. There you will find all the necessary materials and instructions.
- The confirmation is issued within 7 days after the completion of the education in the EMA system, provided that the prerequisites are met:
- For workshops: participant's signature on the attendance sheet (at the workshop itself).
- For webinars: Log in with your AAI@EduHr identity to the MS Teams system and attend the webinar for a minimum of 60 minutes.
Confirmations no issue access to webinar recordings. - For e-learning: complete activities and earn a digital badge (more detailed instructions are available in the courses themselves, within the „About the Course” book).
