The Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNet presented itself on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the Rochester Institute of Technology career day called "Career Education Day 2016," organized at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb.
CARNet representative Mr. Branko Radojević, Assistant Director for Computer Infrastructure and Services, participated in a panel discussion on "Critical IT trends in 2016" along with representatives from DRAP, King ICT, Croz, and IBM. The panel discussed new technologies that are coming into use and ways of applying and localizing them in Croatian circumstances. They talked about trends in education that should follow the demands of the labor market in the technological segment, as well as the readiness of our students to study technical fields at Croatian universities.
CARNet also presented itself to participants as a company where it is possible to intern and complete professional practice.
