On the portal E-readings Complete works of Croatian and foreign authors from the mandatory school reading list and beyond are available. The project was launched in 2009 on the initiative and with the support of the then Ministry of Science, Education and Sport, and was realized by Bulaja naklada and CARNET.

E-readings

Thanks to involvement in CARNET's pilot project “e-Schools: Establishing a System for the Development of Digitally Mature Schools,” the e-lections portal has been enriched with new reading list titles and useful additional content. The additional content complements the reading material, contributing to its understanding and motivating students to interact and acquire knowledge.

Among them, it is worth highlighting:

  • Notes on the author and work that, in addition to a description of the author's life, also present the work in a historical-artistic context
  • dictionaries of less common terms, jargon, and dialectalisms
  • Audio and video materials aimed at encouraging students to read complete literary works
  • Activities for students who want to know and learn more.

In addition, part of the required reading material has been enriched with easy-to-read content and the translation of multimedia into Croatian Sign Language. Some works are also available in digital Braille format, making it easier for students with disabilities to read and understand the literary work and additional content.
