E-Schools Project Presented in Brussels

As part of the Scientix project, which promotes and supports the cooperation of STEM subject group teachers throughout Europe, from 26-28 February 2016, Brussels hosted the tenth “Scientix Projects’ Networking Event” and a workshop under the title “10th Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab”.

On the first day of the event, which was attended by 33 representatives of European and national projects in the field of STEM and education, Ms Branka Vuk, CARNet Deputy CEO for Education Support and Ms Mirta Janeš, Project Results Manager, presented the project “e-Schools: Establishing a System for Developing Digitally Mature Schools (Pilot Project)”, with particular emphasis on the education of the beneficiaries, that is, the systematic development of their digital competences for the use of ICT in the teaching process.

The next day, as part of the workshop, Ms Branka Vuk presented to the interested participants the e-Schools project activities relating to the development of digital educational content for students and teachers of STEM subjects (Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics) in the 7th and 8th grades of elementary school and the 1st and 2nd grades of high school.
