eVET2Edu – Training VET Teachers to Use ICT in Instruction
The general aim of the eVeT2Edu project was to support trainers and teachers from the VET sector in implementing dynamic, open, and innovative methods by adapting and transferring a validated e-learning course for vocational schools and the training sector.
The course was based on innovative pedagogical methods (e.g., online collaboration, reflection, peer learning) and utilizes various open tools. It enabled teachers and institutions to integrate them with the new qualification framework and current teaching practices. The course is available as an open resource in 8 languages, along with a detailed facilitator's manual.
The project was funded through the Leonardo da Vinci project line, it began in October 2012 and lasted for 24 months. The existing e-learning course is the result of the e-Teacher LDV Project (2005-2007) and the iCamp Project (6th FP 2006-2009).
